Happy News

We are elated to have a new baby join our little family. My due date is August 20th, 2015. Late summer baby! So far I haven’t been very sick, aside from the flu hitting our whole family over the holidays. I would compare my morning sickness to what I had with Goober. Maybe that means it’s another boy! Goober keeps pointing at my “not so pregnant looking” belly and saying  “Baby?” Like the baby is coming soon. It’s so cute. I’ll be posting some belly pictures soon. I know I’m not good enough to keep up with it every week so it might be every 2-4 weeks that we get new pictures. I’ll keep you updated on how the pregnancy is going, and for sure do another announcement when we find out the gender. I hope you all have a happy day! 😀

He Is The Gift

I was thinking this morning that Christmas is such a wonderful way to mark time. My mind wandered back to Christmases past. I thought of many years ago when I was a little girl and my first Christmas as a married woman. All of these memories are cherished and dear to me. I thought I’d share a few with you today. I Bid You Farewell (Blogger)

I have decided to use WordPress to write my blog from now on. There isn’t anything wrong with Blogger. I just had some weird computer glitches or something so thing didn’t work like they used to and I had no idea how to fix it. So I made the move to taycimadeit.wordpress.com. I was able to import my post from here to there so I will still have all my current posts. (Thank goodness it worked!) I’m not closing this blog here but it will be redirected to my WordPress site if you happen to mix it up.forget I moved. I hope you all continue reading!

Don’t you just miss being a kid sometimes?

My husband and I were rainy up our millions of leaves a few weekends ago (when it was still warm outside) and I had the bright idea to jump in the huge huge pile we had before we bagged them. 🙂 It was so fun!! It took me back to those years when I used to jump in the leaves with my sisters and cousins at our grandpa Greene’s house. Ah, to be a kid again! Some days it seems like such a better idea. Don’t get me wrong I love where I am in life but the simple joys of jumping in the leaves were some of the best moments I’ve ever had. Here are the pictures. They aren’t very good because we aren’t photographers so we captured the moment as best we could. ENJOY!

Crafty Me

I’m really getting into this whole becoming more crafty and self-reliant thing. I am starting to make more things for around our house. I don’t have any pictures yet because I haven’t done anything cool. Haha. But as soon as I do I’ll post them. “Pinterest” is getting me into this. I see these adorable clothes, or crafts for the home and just want to start doing them. The problem is… NO SEWING MACHINE! I would really love to get one but I don’t know which one to get. There are so many out there. I wouldn’t be doing like major projects on them just a skirt or pillow case or blanket type deals. (That’s all I really know how to do anyway). So if any of you have suggestions for one a should get let me know! Thanks guys. 🙂

Holiday spirit already!

So I bought Michael Buble’s Christmas album and I’ve been listening to it for two days straight! I’m so ready for the holidays!! I love this time of year when the leaves start falling, popcorn, hot chocolate and movies are the perfect date, future Thanksgiving dinners with family, Christmas trees start getting pulled out the attic/basement/garage/shed, and plans for the lights on your house are made. It is so wonderful to be blessed as much as I am and I am very grateful for all the many great memories I have made and traditions I have kept with family and friends over the years. I look forward to making new ones with my husband and our future children! Oh I love it! I know it’s a little early to be listening to Christmas tunes but look what it does!?!?! It gets me all happy and grateful. Why wouldn’t you want to feel like this? 🙂 Have a marvelous next few months. They will be as wonderful as you let them be!

Love Language

This is the best video I’ve seen in a while. In my human sexuality class my teacher showed this to us when we were talking about sexual communication.  It is so perfect too!! This boy is so sweet and it’s super fun to watch!
